From Bath to Montreal: Meeting a Cleaver Cousin in Padstow
A family surname change connects Bath to Montreal, while a visit to Cornwall brings me together with a Cleaver relative in Padstow to share stories and compare family trees.
Lucas
My Lucas connection comes through my 2× great-grandfather, Joseph Lucas Cleaver. Born a Cleaver in Bath, he adopted his mother’s maiden name, Lucas, after moving to Canada. Here I share stories connected to the Lucas, Cleaver, and related families.
